1. into a new life: so I know ND is big on football. →

    heavydecisions:

But I really don’t know if I want to get into all of that.

I’ve never watched football. I never went to games during high school. I went to one semi-voluntarily. My friend really wanted me to go with her and she ditched me. Coooooolstorybro. Then, because I did marching band my senior year, it…

Buy them, and if you don’t end up liking the games/atmosphere, you can always sell your tickets to other students/other people. Believe me, there’s always a big demand for ND football game tickets—if you don’t want to use them, someone else will (or will want to use them for a friend coming in for the game—and you can make good money selling the tickets/ticket booklet for a game).

But you’ll most likely really enjoy the games/atmosphere. I was not at all into football/sports in general before I got ND, and the very first game hooked me (we also won 35-0, but that was pure luck considering we went 6-6 on the season).

  2. why aren’t there more notre dame professors on ratemyprofessors.

Try NDtoday.com (aka the site you’ll find out about from upperclassmen when you get to campus in the fall). But that doesn’t matter really right now, because you won’t be able to ‘pick’ your professors until November (for the spring semester) anyway.

  3. heavydecisions:

Just submitted my course selection. It was so scary pushing submit. Almost as scary as when I submitted my first college application—which was indeed to Notre dame. (:

Are they really requiring people to take an English class freshman year despite AP credit now? Things have changed a lot in three years, apparently.
Also, (looking at the seminar part) I’m nostalgic for my Lord of the Rings freshman seminar now. Such a good class. :’)
